The onefold key

One is the first and the highest number. It represents God, - the one, absolute God and also the union with God. All numbers are composed of the number one. And all primordial ideas together represent the one, God in his revelation. Number one is associated with all divine virtues and powers, with perfection, with highest wisdom, highest power etc. One means also the first, - the first step of creation for example.

Practical application:

In its highest meaning the number one represents the absolute God with all analogue characteristics. So in fact everything which is one has certain analogies with the first and highest one. God gave life to his children in form of individuals which reflect the primordial oneness. Each and every individual is unique, has one own will, one own mind, own feelings, an own appearance etc. So indeed creation consists of uncountable “ones” which express the absolute one in a reflecting diversity of endless relative ones. This means for application that when you meet an individual, - a “one” then you have to respect and to regard its individuality with all unique characteristics. It is a mistake to equalize an individual with others.

In second it means that when you speak of God that there can´t be another God or power or what else as there is only one absolute God. One is the highest number and there is simply no different number above the one. Here we arrive at the major problem of exoteric religious teachings which proclaim their idea of a god as the only one but indeed it is just a relative idea of God and not the absolute. So this is a dangerous mix-up of relative and absolute. This mix-up is the reason for so many religious wars, tortures and tries to proselytize people. Bardon defines such religious ideas as monistic. He says that they start with the number one, - the proclamation of almightiness with the analogue evil characteristic to try to subordinate and to convert all different believers. The agony which is caused by such behavior leads to the consequence that such people end in humbleness which is represented by number ten. The right spiritual approach is to start with number ten, - from the basis of creation and evolution back to God with true humbleness to be able to bear the almightiness in the end of the development. A misuse is then impossible. Without humbleness you can´t bear almightiness. Unfortunately many religions try to with all the problems we know.

So one means considering God something absolute and not relative. There is only one absolute God behind all relative ideas of religions. This absolute God with his absolute characteristics, virtues and powers has to be revealed behind the exoteric teachings of the different religions. The inner, esoteric teachings of religions show that the initiates of the different cultures and centuries knew that there is only one absolute God without another and that all humans are truly brothers and sisters, children of the one God equal to the language they speak, the different traditions, cloths etc.
